Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will join Resolute Asset Management’s (“Resolute”) Team which covers deal origination, business development and execution of strategic advisory/real estate mandates on behalf of banks, financial institutions and Institutional Investors. The role interacts closely with the Company’s Asset Managers, Real Estate Strategy Team, Legal and Finance functions and the Managing Partner.  The position is ideal for candidates looking to work on a fast growing and dynamic advisory and asset management company with a focus on real estate distressed investments and portfolio across Europe.

In particular, the selected candidate will focus on the following key areas:

  • Networking and Communication - building and maintaining relationships with local authorities, working and collaborating with 3rd parties (land owners, real estate brokers, developers, city and government officials) to obtain information about sites to be analysed either for internal or client purposes
  • Management - undertaking specific projects and has the overall responsibility to deliver the desirable results, leads team of analysts in the preparation and production of presentations and reports to clients and the management of Resolute, shares technical knowledge, gives feedback and coaches other junior team members to improve their overall performance
  • Analysis - revising financial analysis, budgets, market studies and cash flows related to the asset positioning and performance assisting single investors or groups of investors, by driving necessary changes and improvements in the approach, structure, decision making and asset management of the investment recommending operational or structural actions to meet performance objectives providing loan restructuring plans based on his/her analysis of the asset/property
  • Mandates execution and reporting – executing strategic mandates for banks abd other financial institutions, and preparing and delivering presentations to clients and investors, tracking the performance of his/her portfolio and reporting to the management.

Professional Experience and Qualifications:

  • BA/BSc degree finance, accounting or engineering discipline with a strong record of academic achievement
  • CFA holder or candidate
  • 5+ years’ experience in advisory and/or consulting in the investment banking, real estate finance, Big 4 accountancy, private equity and/or management consulting industries
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Extremely high attention to detail
  • Ability to supervise and train the team of Financial Analysts on financial modelling and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong team working skills and ability to work and adapt to different European regions and culture
  • Proven ability to take ownership, prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills; additional one or two European languages is preferred
  • Availability to travel
