Vice President - Real Estate Strategies

Reporting To: Partner, Head of Real Estate Strategies

 

This is an exciting and rare opportunity for an energetic, driven and results-focused professional to be at the forefront of driving new business throughout Europe and the Middle East with exposure to all aspects of real estate mandate lifecycle from pitch through to execution. It would be perfect for an experienced banker, management consultant or private equity manager who wants a very varied role, to increase their client ownership, gain more international experience and play a big part in driving the company’s success. 

 

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Working with one of Resolute’s Senior Partners, the successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of projects across Europe for bank and buy-side clients from preparing large asset business plans and underwriting NPL and REO portfolios to business origination.  The role will involve the full life cycle of mandates from initial pitch through to execution working with Resolute’s regional teams. Extensive travel throughout Europe and MENA region will be required. 

 

Key responsibilities include

  • Execution of mandates including oversight of business plan preparation, NPL underwriting and REO monetization
  • Leading and managing internal transaction teams and coordinating with external third-party advisors (legal, tax, etc.)
  • Business development and origination across Resolute’s products and services
     

Qualifications:

  • BA/BSc degree finance, accounting, engineering or real estate related discipline
  • MBA, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or equivalent (preferred)
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in real estate private equity, development, advisory and/or consulting in the real estate, or investment banking
  • Track record of client management and transaction execution
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and ability to work with and adapt to different European regions and cultures
  • Strong management skills with the ability to influence and engage direct and indirect collaborators and associates
  • Strong mentoring and coaching experience of teams with diverse levels of expertise
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills; an additional European language is strongly preferred
  • Availibility for frequent travel
