Project Overview: 

Resolute has been engaged to execute the active asset management and subsequent disposal of a large, high value, UK based residential portfolio. An opportunity has arisen for a proactive, commercially minded individual to take charge of the asset management process, identifying and carrying out targeted asset-level value enhancement strategies over an initial 12-month period in which approximately 400 assets are likely to be considered for disposal.  

Job Purpose: Formation and execution of value enhancing strategies across a large, UK based residential portfolio. Provide timely and accurate reporting on performance for internal and client purposes 

Key Responsibilities

Asset Management:

  • Conduct development appraisals and underwrite value enhancing strategies 
  • Identification of and investigation into redevelopment and/or change of asset use opportunities across the portfolio 
  • Monitor, review and sign-off of completed works 
  • Project management of major capex initiatives, liaising with external contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and according to the approved budget 
  • Attend appraisal review meetings with clients, as required 
  • Selection of appropriate sales strategies and management of the sales process 
  • Assist in drafting pitch documents for work with current and potential future clients 
  • Utilise data analytics tools to evaluate client data for use in reporting, pitch or advisory work  

Reporting:

  • Preparation of asset review memos recommending approval of value enhancing initiatives and disposal strategies 
  • Assist in the process of preparing monthly asset management reports to be submitted to the Project Lead and the client 
  • Manage project cash flows for weekly, monthly and annual reporting purposes 
  • Utilise in-house database and online reporting tools to develop and maintain client reporting dashboards

 

Person Specifications 

Experience/Skill/Qualifications: 

Essential: 

  • Undergraduate degree in real estate or related field (Real Estate Management, Real Estate Finance)
  • 0 - 3 years' relevant experience in UK residential real estate 
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills
  • Well developed communication skills 

Desirable:

  • Postgraduate certification (MRICS or equivalent)
